Read Out Displays

Originally designed to measure residential usage this ingenious device can easily be self-fitted to any residential meter. It’s easy to forget to turn the light out, or to leave the TV on standby. But an energy monitor can help inform and educate you and your family so that you use less energy – effortlessly. A clip-on sensor and transmitter inside your existing meter box transmits a real-time reading to a portable LCD display that you can see. The reading shows the cost of electricity being used (or wasted!) and the amount of CO2 gases you are contributing to the environment.  It is designed as a tool to help aid its users in intelligent electrical energy usage. It shows the power being used across the supply, and much it costs to run. Electricity changes from being an invisible, intangible idea, into a visible, tangible entity with real and quantifiable consequences for using it.
