During these hours, our in-house UK-based call-handlers take the calls and ask for basic information from the client, verifying that they have access to the service and ascertaining the area of law they require help with. The call is then allocated to an adviser who specialises within that area of law, and the call is returned within the hour. If a caller requests to speak to an adviser straight away we will do our best to accommodate them. Whilst calls are not directly recorded at present, our advisers dictate detailed notes from each caller as soon as the call is completed and this information is retained on our system indefinitely. This preserves the user’s confidentiality, while at the same time allowing us to monitor the accuracy of the advice provided and establish training requirements.
